Costume Contest: Radiant Beings! (August 2022)

Are you a radiant being? Now is your chance to shine like a star! Join us Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 8:00 PM Eastern for the official Radiant Beings costume contest on the City of Heroes Rebirth server.

Rebirth Issue 4: Forever Epic introduced 11 different glowing and animated skin sets. Help us push these new parts to the limit! To be eligible for contest awards, participating players must use at least one of the following new skins on at least one part of their costume: Fluorescent, Incandescent, Incandescent Skin, Neon, Plasma, Prismatic, Prismatic Dephased, Radium, Sand, Spectral, Uncanny Illumination.

These new skins are available in the following costume part categories: heads, hair, full helmets, gloves, boots on male, huge, and female; and pants, armored, baggy, tucked, and tight chests and hips on male and female.

Join us in Night Ward on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 8pm Eastern, (Midnight GMT, 5pm Pacific)! Prizes will include reward tokens, super packs, and special titles for winning characters!

There will be an after-event featuring wave after wave of monsters and rare spawns, giving all participants a chance to earn badges, event salvage, and merits galore!

All contestants will be judged on costume creativity, visual appearance, and adherence to theme.

One (1) First Place Winner Will Receive:

• Four (4) Reward Tokens
• One (1) Permanent in-game special reward title for one character so long as such account is in good standing.
• One (1) City of Heroes Special Costume Power (Pick from a long list of CoH costumes).

One (1) Second Place Winner Will Receive:

• Three (3) Reward Tokens
• One (1) 90 Day in-game special reward title for one character so long as such account is in good standing.

One (1) Third Place Winner Will Receive:

• Two (2) Reward Tokens
• One (1) 60 Day in-game special reward title for one character so long as such account is in good standing.

Seven (7) Runners-up Will Receive:

• One (1) Reward Token
• One (1) 30 Day in-game special reward title for one character so long as such account is in good standing.

All Participants Will Receive:

• One (1) Free Costume Change Token.

All Attendees Will Receive:

• One (1) Super Pack: Lords of Winter Special Edition.
